All updates, new features, and fixes — newest first.
Custom practice bots (beta)
We built our own practice bot system from scratch. It supports multiple kits and practice modes so you can train solo when nobody else is online.
- Works with several kits and practice setups
- Built for CPvP, Sword, Mace, and more
- Still in testing — expect tweaks and improvements as we gather feedback
New kits & gamemodes — Cave, Boxing, MLG Rush
A major content update landed on the PvP side of the server.
- New kits added to the rotation
- Cave Fight — netherite cave PvP with crystals, pots, and cobwebs
- Boxing — classic boxing duels on the boxing map
- MLG Rush — bridge rush / MLG practice as its own gamemode
Moved to a dedicated server
We migrated to a new host with a dedicated machine. Performance improved noticeably and we gained much more freedom to run heavier gamemodes, more players, and bigger events without hitting the old limits.
Legendary 7-day Cookie Collector event
Loxy hosted the Cookie Collector — a week-long SMP-style event where players teamed up and competed to collect as many cookies as possible.
- Teams played together in a shared world for 7 days
- The winning team's total cookie count was rewarded as in-game money on HugoSMP
- One of our biggest community events to date
BedWars is live
We added BedWars as a full gamemode on the server. Queue up with friends (or strangers), defend your bed, and rush the other teams — classic BedWars, now on AvesClub.
- Play with friends or fill a match with other players
- Destroy enemy beds and eliminate teams to win
- Available on Java and Bedrock
Loxy's first streamed SMP event
Loxy hosted his first SMP on the server and streamed it live. It only ran for a few weeks, but the community loved it — lots of players showed up and it became one of those memorable early AvesClub moments.
Welcome to avesclub.net
We finally got our first domain: avesclub.net. Huge thanks to Egapeater for sponsoring it — the server finally had a proper home on the web that players could remember and share.
Bedrock support added
Bedrock players could join the same server as Java for the first time. Cross-platform play was working — a big step toward making the server accessible to everyone, not just Java Edition.
First playable build — simple duels
We got something working on the server for the first time: basic duels. Nothing fancy yet — no big kit list or custom maps — but players could actually fight each other. A small milestone that proved the idea was worth pursuing.
Project kickoff — the server is born
Loxy and Robin started building what would eventually become AvesClub. At this point it was still early days — no official name yet, just two people setting up a Minecraft server and figuring things out.
